THE LIVING BALANCE SHEET FORUM
Angela had the honor of presenting main stage at the 2025 LBS Forum in Dallas, TX.
She shared her powerful story—one of resilience, strength, and what it truly means to be your own best client. After suffering a stroke, Angela’s financial decisions, made years earlier when she joined Guardian Life, Park Avenue Wealth Management, and Alliance Financial Network, Inc., allowed her to withstand one of life’s toughest moments.
Beyond her own story, Angela challenged financial professionals to lead by example - to make the same financial decisions we recommend to our clients.
Women's Empowerment Summit 2024
At the 2024 Women’s Empowerment Summit in Minneapolis, Angela Vahue took the main stage to share more than her professional journey - she shared her story, her challenges, and the lessons that have shaped who she is today.
Speaking to a room full of women in financial services, Angela highlighted something so many women know all too well: we wear a lot of hats. We are leaders, professionals, mothers, daughters, partners, mentors, caregivers, friends, and so much more. We are constantly balancing responsibilities, expectations, and dreams—often all at once.
Her message was simple but powerful: women are superheroes.
Angela reminded the room that strength doesn't always look like having it all figured out. Sometimes, it's showing up, continuing forward, lifting others along the way, and giving ourselves permission to recognize just how much we are capable of.
Her story inspired, her honesty connected, and her message empowered a room full of women to embrace every role they play - not as something that holds them back, but as part of what makes them extraordinary.
Looking back, the 2024 Women’s Empowerment Summit was a powerful reminder that when women share their stories, support one another, and recognize the strength already within them, there is no limit to what can happen next.
